My Conseling Story
My journey as a counselor started back home in Puerto Rico in 2011 and then it was resumed in 2016 when I became a Licensed Professional Counselor-Intern in the state of Texas.
For two years I provided counseling services at a non-profit clinic for those who are uninsured and underserved. During that time I worked closely with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, spiritual and cultural issues, life transitions, marital and family conflicts.
I see the counseling relationship as a team effort. I will walk alongside your counseling journey, and help you establish your own goals and pace. You are the expert in your own life and no one knows you better than yourself.
I will provide a safe place, where you can be yourself and feel free to say whatever you need to say. My commitment is to help you find healing, comfort or guidance as long as you are committed and responsible for your own progress.
